Grandkids, Air Hockey & Apple Pie

Brianna and Lorien sure did like playing air hockey last night. Lorien is a bit short to handle it but when you think it’s neat when Anybody scores and you think it’s a Thrill just to drop it in the hole so the score goes off …you just don’t care anyway! It sure was fun to watch them playing. They have to stand in a chair just so to reach the air hockey table!!! Brianna played me and really could get in some good hits!!  Brianna also brought the prettiest apple pie for supper that night. She had a flower design on the crust top and it was delicious!Aren’t grandkids the greatest??? I love being a Momma but somehow being a MawMaw is even more special. Age does come with benefits!!

Cloudcroft

We left early New Years Day after about 3 hours of sleep! Cleaning up after our big New Years Eve at Church leaves little time for sleep when you awake early the next day! Cloudcroft was beautiful this year. Snow on the ground, enough to be pretty but not too much so you can’t drive around. It snowed friday morning and WOW! It was so pretty! You can see Gods handiwork so much in and around Cloudcroft – I think that is why I love it so much! Those mountains, the sunsets, the snow and wildlife are just a few of the breathtaking things you see. We stayed in a really cool cabin and we totally enjoyed just being lazy and resting up after the big meeting week!

New Years Meeting

Our New Years Meeting seemed to race by this year. I loved our topic for study as it is a message very dear to my heart. Finding the Lost Identity of the Church was the study and each night just got better. Everybody had a message to touch your heart. I only remembered my camera on New Years Eve night – so here’s a glimpse of what all happened that night. The big night itself and the behinds the scene work that makes it happen.
