SEA WORLD

Our whole family got to go to Sea World this last weekend. The weather was simply beautiful and it was lots of fun. Brianna and Lorien love all those animals and us “big kids” do too!

Mayfest, Mothers Day & Eugenes Birthday

This last weekend was busy! The Mayfest was going on so Eugene was kept hopping. And on top of that there was numerous bad calls all friday night so the VFD people and EMS had a rough weekend! I got to keep my granddaughters friday so we went to garage sales, ate lunch at McDonalds and they cooked for the Mayfest kiddy contests. Kimberly helped them make cookies and we also helped them make pies. Brianna won with her M & M cookies and her Choc. chip pecan pie. Lorien won with her White choc. chip cookies. They even got medals & were quite proud of them! I also placed 1st with my coconut chess pie this year.

Then Mothers Day was sunday.I got to eat out at Texas Roadhouse for lunch and had Shipleys marshmellow cream doughnuts for breakfast! Now that’s a lowfat diet!! Eugene got me roses and a pretty mirror. Melissa got me a fern hanging basket, bath & body works bubblebaths & a book. Suzanne & Kimberly made me a really pretty quilt by hand. The colors are so pretty and Kimberly even embroidered the corner squares. Dustin is taking me out to eat whenever I wish to go so I imagine Ruthys will see us this week!!

Then about a week ago we had Eugenes birthday at Kimberlys place. Was Fun!! Kimberly made pizzas, Melissa made a greek salad (Eugenes favorite kind), Suzanne fixed baked zita & I made a blueberry cheesecake. Was good!

RACE for the CURE

We did the RACE For The CURE today.Suzanne, Melissa, Kimberly, Valerie, Rohan and I all fast walked the untimed 5k. [Rohan really rode in a sling on Suzannes back!] Was alot of fun!
