Won’t fly in till late sunday night or early monday by time he gets home! Ugh! I’m thankful he got to go on an all expense paid fishing trip…but it’s been a long weekend. I miss you honey & I love you bunches!!

This beautiful weather makes me want to just stay outside and enjoy it. I’m so thankful to have the 100 degree days behind us for another year!! So we set up tables in the backyard sunday and  had a picnic. Even the cats enjoyed it!

Gotta Go To The Zoo

I toured the zoo with Suzanne and my grandkiddos last week. I love our zoo and never get tired of going. The monkeys were hollaring and putting on a show when we got there. Guess they liked the cooler weather that morning

Yes, the Lord had to of smiled when he made this animal! They always give me a laugh!

Looking at the bright colored fish.

You never know what you’ll see when you peek though corners at the zoo

I never lose the thrill of watching those amazing animals. Just reinforces in my mind what an awesome God we have. I love seeing his handprints in our daily world and it’s such a joy to watch my grandkiddos enjoy the wonders he has made for us.

Camping Again at Lake Belton

We pulled our camper out Thursday night for a weekend of camping. When we got to our campsite a doe and two fawns were at our campsite. We just enjoyed taking it easy Thursday night and walking around seeing all the deer

We had a kitty come up and adopt us. It was a little thing and skinny. It liked winners and leftovers so it came back often. Then friday afternoon we saw it go in a culvert and Suzanne spotted that it had a kitten! The kitten came out to us and we could pet it. Couldn’t believe that tiny kitty was a mommy cat! It came back two more times to eat …then it and the kitten vanished. We figure someone took them home with them. Was thankful because I would of had to adopt them otherwise!

Brianna and Lorien made a pretty cake to bring to the lake. Was yummy!!

Rohan plays with Phillips roping bull

Brianna wears a ski belt kind of oddly!

Rohan enjoys chow time

Brianna and Lorien try their hand at skipping rocks

You’ve got to get wet or it just isn’t camping!!

Brianna and Lorien were impressed with Uncle Dustins boat

The guys take the boat out and fish. Jesse missed out as he had to go home and work.

Was another fun camping trip. We brought the camper in today monday. When I walked this morning I saw 22 deer. It seems we saw more deer and turkey than ever! I just love going to Lake Belton and is fun to have our whole family camp with us.
