Whoever said Age doesn’t have its perks just doesn’t have a clue! Eugene took me to Walt DisneyWorld at Florida for my birthday. Wow! It was so fun!!
We flew out sunday afternoon. We stayed at Pop Century on Disney property so got all the disney transportation to everywhere. Was a value resort but really cute how it was decorated!

Monday morning found us at Magic Kingdom when the gates opened at 9. We toured the whole park & saw everything. We watched the afternoon parade, nighttime electric light-up parade & watched the totally awesome fireworks. Ate supper at the Crystal Palace with the characters. Pooh, Tigger, Piglet & Eyeore were all there. Was neat! Piglet just had to get his photo with Eugene!!

Got back to Pop Century & the resort had delivered me a signed photo from Mickey Mouse with balloons for my birthday.

Tuesday morning was early entry at Epcot so we were there at 8 when the park opened. No lines & moved thru the top attractions real fast.
These photos are from the Living with the Land ride. Lots of the foods served in the restaurants are grown here. The first is a 9 lb. lemon tree & the second photo are plants being grown in the air without soil. A few of their greenhouse items that they had growing were huge pumpkins & melons, tomoto trees & massive pepper plants.

We start traveling around the World. We ate lunch in Mexico & supper at France. This first photo is at Canada.

This is Les Chefs de France the fancy French restaurant we ate supper at. We got the free dining plan with our package so we had fun eating at Fancy places & not having to pay.

Wednesday morning found us at Animal Kingdom when they opened at 9. Thankfully, it is a smaller park so we left after the parade & went and crashed at Pop Century for awhile.
We took the safari ride first thing that morning.

A photo of both of us in front of the huge tree.

For supper that night we went to the Polynesian Resort and ate at Ohana. It was super. The best we ate the whole trip. Is hawaiian & they serve table style. First you get coconut bread & a awesome salad. Then dumplings & BBQ chicken wings. Next asian noodles & steamed veggies. Then they bring by skewers of steak, shrimp, chicken, pork & turkey. Then you have bread pudding & ice cream topped with a fancy sauce for dessert. Could see Magic Kindom castle from there & we watched the light up parade on the lake out the window as we dined. They sing during the meal & the kids had races hitting the coconut with brooms around the restaurant. Was really neat!!

Thursday morning we were at Hollywood Studios when they opened at 9. After catching the rides we wanted there we crashed at the resort & then went to downtown disney & shopped. We went back to the park for supper at the Brown Derby. Fancy place & we dined on cobb salad, huge steaks & new taters, & grapefruit cake for dessert. Delicious eats!

Thanks Eugene for an awesome birthday. I had so much fun. I just love the magic of Walt DisneyWorld!! I love you bunches!!
